The Mansion House

These are pictures of the mansion house. It is much overgrown with foliage, but pretty much hasn't changed.

View From The Chicken House

This is one of those cool shots that matches well to the episode. As Buz is bringing Julie back from the airport, Frank looks out of the chicken house and sees this view as Buz is turning the Corvette around.

Buz leaves to pick up Julie

This building and garage is to the side and behind the mansion house.

It hasn't changed much, and is clearly visible when Buz backs the Corvette up to go Pick up Julie (Inger Stevens) at the airport.

This is early in the episode, right after Frank scolds Buz for going to pick her up.

Pipe & Water Faucet

I'm sure the people in the ranch house were wondering why I was photographing junk in their back yard. This is the reason:

A photo of one of the pipes shown in the episode where Frank and Tod are talking as Tod is cleaning out the chicken buckets.

I circled it in red, and put a red arrow showing the pipe, as it looked in the beginning when Buz was on the way to the airport, and Frank was bugging Tod in the chicken house.

Springville Cemetery

This is Springville cemetery. It is located on Springville road, not too far from Boiling Springs. Thank goodness for the archway sign, as there are a lot of cemeteries in Boiling Springs.

This may be where Buz parked the Corvette. It looks like all grass in the picture, but there is gravel under me, which may have been a road years ago.

Bucher Apartments

These are the Bucher Apartments. They are on Bucher Hill Road, and about 50 yards up the hill, on the left, is the mansion house.

The "Bucher Apartments" sign is no longer on the house. Around the side are mailboxes, as some people live in them year round.

Allenberry Playhouse

This photo was taken at the Allenberry Playhouse which shows up at the end of the episode. Fairfield Hall is where the outdoor scenes took place. This is where Tod parks the car, and the daughter gets out of the trunk. The walkway and roof were not there during the episode. The wooden fence is much like the original.

The playhouse, where all gathered in the end, is across the street. It still looks much the same as it did in 1961, I didn't take any pictures outside, as it wasn't seen in the episode. The inside pictures, unfortunately, didn't come out.

The Stream

Buz and Julie are walking and talking by the stream. It is cleaned up now, and a wall has been built where all trees were then.

They could have been anywhere along this stream, so I picked this location to photograph.
